The 4th International Conference on Child and Youth 2022 (CCY 2022), which will be held on July 07th and 08th, 2022, has collaborated with the SOS Children Village in Sri Lanka as the Corporate Partner.
SOS Children Village International was founded in 1949. It is the largest nonprofit organization in the world and aims to care for orphaned, abandoned and other vulnerable children. SOS Children’s Villages International comprises 118 national SOS Children’s Villages associations. Each SOS Children’s Villages organization is dedicated to following the federation’s statutes, excellent childcare standards, and financial and administrative procedures.
SOS Children Village International Operates in 136 countries around the world including Sri Lanka. There are 6 SOS Villages in Sri Lanka at Piliyandala, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, Anuradhapura, Monaragala and Jaffna.
SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka provides for nearly 900 children and youth across the country in its six children’s villages and youth homes. It Won ‘Best NGO/INGO’ in Fostering Women’s Empowerment at Women in Management and the Bronze Award for ‘Brand Awareness’ at SLIM DIGIS Awards 2021.
