The 7th International Conference on Education (ICEDU 2021) was organized as an Online Conference due to the restrictions imposed on Conferences an Events as a means of containing the spread of the virus. The prime intent in organizing the Conference was to amplify the message to the outside world that it is vital to progress when the career of an individual is concerned, the growth of the corporate is concerned and the decisions and sustainable solutions from the state level is concerned preparing for a future beyond the dark clouds which is not too far from reach and is inevitable from coming. The Conference was held on the 06th – 08th April 2021 under the theme ‘Empowering Learners in a Digital World.’ The Conference witnessed the participation of 180 participants representing from 42 countries from across the globe becoming one of the most populated Virtual Conferences in Asia. The Conference was hosted by the Department of Foundations of Education, Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia in collaboration with Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico, Technical University Dresden, Germany, University of Applied Sciences Dresden, Germany, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Indonesia, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia, Bochum University of Applied Sciences, Germany, Bulacan State University, Philippines and ASPROPENDO, Indonesia as the Academic Partners of the Conference and APAC CIOoutlook was the Media Partner of the Conference. The Conference was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), a CPD accredited Knowledge Management institute certified by CPD Certification Services, UK.
The Conference was chaired by Prof. Eugene P. Sheehan, Dean, Professor of Psychological Sciences College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, University of Northern Colorado, USA. The Keynote Forum was represented by Prof. Bob Fox, Curriculum Academic Lead, Office of the Pro ViceChancellor (Education), University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia and Dr. José Escamilla, Associate Director, Institute for the Future of Education, Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico. The plenary forum was represented by Prof. Eckehard Müller, Professor at Bochum University of Applied Sciences, Head of Center for Teacher Education, Germany, Prof. Dr. Marcel Köhler, Chair for Nursing and Health Care University of Applied Sciences Dresden, Germany, Prof. Dr. Oliver Michler, Chair of Transport Systems Information Technology, Technical University Dresden, Germany and Dr. Fida Sanjakdar from Monash University, Australia. The Overall Best Presenters for ICEDU 2021 were Princess Gerbie C. Durante, Philippines, Saimon M., Tanzania, Dalia Bedewy, UAE, Jonathan Dyrna, Germany, Prof. Dr. Marius Brade, Germany, Mildred Lopez, Mexico, Héctor E. Carrera-Flores, Mexico, Charles Darwin O. The Conference lasted for 3 Days and was organized around the clock to ensure all participants of the Conference had a pleasant and an insightful gathering with a blend of exciting features ranging from an informative Publication Workshop to a Cultural Networking gathering to amplify a virtual Conference experience that meets the expectation of a physical Conference.
