Publication Opportunities – ICOSS 2022

The 9th International Conference on Social Sciences 2022 will be held from 15th – 16th September 2022 under the theme “Transforming the Approach: Achieving Sustainable Development with No One Left Behind” in the virtual platform. The ICOSS 2022 is intended to serve as a focal point for researchers to share their most recent research findings, knowledge, opinions, suggestions, and vision. It will also offer a variety of interactive social science platforms, including panels, keynote forums by well-known researchers, group discussions, workshops, networking, and many exciting experiences.

The conference chair of ICOSS 2022 is Prof. Steven Ratuva. He is an Award-winning Political Sociologist Global Interdisciplinary Scholar and the Director of the Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.

ICOSS 2022 has various publication platforms as categorized below.
– Book of Abstracts
– Journal Publications
– Conference Proceedings

All the accepted abstracts of the conference will be published with an ISBN number 978-624-5746-25-5 in the book of Abstracts. The book is prepared with the COPE Standard. The Double-blind peer-reviewing is conducted by a World-class Scientific Committee. The book will be Available Online after the conference.

There are 4 supporting journals that are indexed in SCOPUS and other major indexing databases. The authors can make their submissions to any of the supporting journals based on their preferences and the scope of the manuscript. Guidelines for the submission and further steps are provided by the publication team after the conference. The conference is dedicated to maximizing the standard and quality of full papers of the authors through a pre-reviewing service called “Publishelp” conducted prior to the conference. Therefore, it supports the authors to bring the quality of their full papers up to the standard of the journals before submitting them.

The conference proceedings is another publication outlet similar to the journals. But the reviewing process of conference proceedings is not as rigorous as in the journals. It takes maximum of 4 months to publish a full paper whereas a journal takes about 8-12 months to publish a full paper. But initially, the authors can select only one option to publish their full papers based on their preferences.

There is another important feature which supports the authors to develop their knowledge within the conference. That is the publication workshop. This workshop is conducted by Dr. Debojyoti Das from Anthropology Department in Sussex University, UK. Therefore, the authors can take maximum opportunities from the ICOSS 2022 regarding the publication aspects.
