The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka organized, 6th International Conference on Fisheries and Aquaculture 2019 (ICFA 2019) on the 22nd– 23rd August 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. under the theme “Sustainable Aquaculture: Nutritional Security and Exports” TIIKM joined hands with the Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Indonesia, School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD), Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand as its Hosting Partners while Supporting Department, Department of Fisheries (DoF), Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Thailand as Supporting Department and University of Baltistan Skardu, Pakistan, Bihar Animal Sciences University (BASU), India, The Faculty of Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources, Maejo University, Thailand, Uva Wellassa University, Sri Lanka, Curtin University, Malaysia as Academic Partners. TIIKM also joined hands with Aquaculture Directory and Institute for International Co-Operation e.v (INICOP)as its Media Partner.
Each of the sessions and presentations were evaluated by an individual International evaluation committee and based on their marks and the conference chair’s consent, Session’s best presenter, Best Student presenter and Best Overall presenter were selected. The Best Student presenter and the Best Overall presenter won Free Registrations for ICFA 2020 in addition many other benefits.
OVERALL BEST PRESENTER
Noratat Prachom from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand became the Overall Best Presenter & the session’s best presenter for the session Socio-Economics, Policy and Governance.
BEST STUDENT PRESENTER
Fitrani M Kasetsart University, Thailand became the Best Student Presenter & the Session’s Best Presenter for the session Aquatic Resource and Environment Management.
SESSION’S BEST PRESENTER
A.C.W.W.M.C.L.K. Coswatte from Uva Wellassa University, Sri Lanka became the Session’s Best Presenter for the Session Ecology, Environmental Impacts of Aquaculture, Climate Change, Ornamental Species and Aquaculture Development.

Sanjay Kumar Gupta from ICAR-Indian Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology, India became the Session’s Best Presenter for the Session Feeding and Nutrition.
SESSION’S BEST PRESENTER
M.S. Rahman from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh became the Session’s Best Presenter for the Session Fish Biology and Ecotoxicology.

Arthon Prompatanapak from Bangkok University, Thailand became the Session’s Best Presenter for the Session Post-Harvest, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain.

A.P. Abeygunawardana from Uva Wellassa University, Sri Lanka became the Session’s Best Presenter for the Session Molecularbiology And Genetics.
BEST POSTER PRESENTER
Jitendra Kumar Sundaray from ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, India became the Best Poster Presenter.
The Conference consisted of 05 Technical Sessions. The Conference had four Workshops Important statistical methods used in research using SPSS, Seafood Cold Chain Management and Quality Monitoring, Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) in Aquaculture and Water Quality Bioremediation: An Innovative Approach also one Panel Discussion called Water Scarcity and Sustainable Aquaculture. The Conference had 60 Delegates and Researchers representing from 35 Different Countries across the World.
