Public University of North Sumatra (USU) is situated in Medan, North Sumatra. On June 4, 1952, USU was first established under the name North Sumatra Universitet Foundation. Currently, 10 faculties and one postgraduate program comprise more than a hundred study programs at various levels of higher education that are administered by USU.
