The Journal of International Women’s Studies publishes The Special Issue with the WCWS 2021

The Journal of International Women’s Studies

The 7th World Conference on Women’s studies (WCWS) was held from 20th – 22nd of May 2021 in Virtual Platform under the theme “Transnational Feminisms–Contexts, Collaborations, Contestations: Toward a Liveable Planet”. The conference was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka and hosted by the Asian-African Association for Women, Gender, and Sexuality (AAAWGS) with Bridgewater State University, USA and Tokyo Gakugei University, Japan.

The 6th issue of the 23rd volume of the Journal of International Women’s Studies was published in May 2022. This issue contains the full papers of authors who presented at the 7th World Conference on Women’s Studies. The special issue was published under the theme “Transnational Feminisms–Contexts, Collaborations, Contestations: Toward a Liveable Planet”. The special issue contains nine full papers. The executive editor of the journal is Prof. Diana Fox from Bridgewater State University, MA, USA. The special issue editors of this issue were Bhushan Sharma, K Bhavana Raj and Tamanna Arora.

The Journal of International Women’s Studies is an online, open-access, peer-reviewed feminist journal that provides a forum for scholars, activists, and students to explore the relationships among theories of gender and sexuality and various forms of organizing and critical practice. The ISSN assignment for “Journal of International Women’s Studies” is ISSN 1539-8706. The Journal is indexed with the MLA International Bibliography, The International Bibliography of Social Sciences, EBSCO, Elsevier Bibliographic Databases, Ulrich’s Periodicals, the Gale Group, the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), ProQuest Bibliographical References, and SCOPUS.
